Precision can be defined 2 different ways:

• Precision is a function of calibration

of the measuring device.

• Precision is a measure of how close data

points are to each other and is described

by deviation.

Accuracy is defined as how close a single

data point is to a “bullseye” (actual value)

and is described by relative error.
